Yes, Men Have Social Issues Too!
When we think of gender as a social issue, we often think about women and the long-struggling feminist movement. However, we hardly think of men having social issues, or even having “gender issues” of our own.
The Men’s Rights Group of Arizona LLC is here to fight fo men’s social issues. But unlike most women’s organizations, we focus on changing the plight of men within the state of Arizona and at the local level.
Believe it or not, the majority of discriminatory laws that affect men, fathers and families don’t come from the federal level but from the state level. For example, divorce, child support, child custody, parenting time, false domestic violence allegations, prison reform and sentencing all stem from government laws at the state level. Now, these are just a small fraction of social and legal issues affecting men within Arizona. However, these social issues are just a small aspect of the many problems affecting men and their “gendered” experience in our culture.
Not only are these social problems affecting men throughout Arizona but a clear problem nationwide.
Men also face national policies that affect their gender. Policies such as the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) that fails to protect male victims of domestic violence and those falsely accused. The widespread failure to create federal laws to protect college students from false allegations at colleges and universities. Federal incentives to increase research spending on male-specific cancers and medical issues. Last but not least, the need for Federal laws to lower the retirement ages for men to be equivalent to that of their wives.
Clearly, the Men’s Rights Group of Arizona is here to serve men, father’s and families of Arizona and nationally if possible. We encourage your support by commenting and sharing our post with your friends and family. Together, we can make a difference for men, fathers, and families in our state.
Again, thank you for your support and Welcome to the Men’s Rights Group of Arizona.
